Season Change and Change is Good!

Beach Pumpkin Season

It’s that time of the year again!

 Hi everybody!

A season change is coming. Or maybe it’s already here!  Who can tell?

Here in Florida, it can be hard to know just by the temperature.  For us, it means that the constant upper 90s of summer will begin to cool to a brisk 80° or so.

But that’s great for us. This is part of why we love living in this beautiful state.   Boating all year long!!

We know that in many parts of the country, folks are already winterizing their vessels and looking forward to the next summer.    Boooooo!!  🙁

Okay . . .   maybe somebody in Florida is winterizing their boat, but no one we know is!

We’re excited for the season change.  Change is good.

Btw . . . we’re making some changes here too.

TrawlerFest Was The Best !

TrawlerFest Stuart 2019

Hey guys. Jennifer and I are back from TrawlerFest Stuart 2019, and we’re happy to report that it was as much fun as we imagined.  TrawlerFest was the Best!

If you like cruising, if you want to start cruising, or you’re just really into the trawler lifestyle, this is the show for you.

In our last post, we detailed what TrawlerFest is all about.  After being there and experiencing it first-hand, we wanted to do a follow-up post for all of you.

We had the opportunity to walk around in so many different styles and sizes of boats all in one place. And we got to meet the wonderful folks that live on them.

We’re still talking about how awesome it was to be able to tour all of those beautiful and slow-moving “homes on the water”.

Saturday March 9, 2019

Our original plans included (2) days at TrawlerFest Stuart, but unfortunately our plans for the week changed, and Saturday turned out to be our only free day.

Believe me when I say, we made the most of it ! Continue reading “TrawlerFest Was The Best !”

Boating Again! Lake Conway Overnighter

Boating Again!

Hey guys. Good news! We’re actually boating again!! Our engine problems are resolved and we’re back out on the water.

Last weekend we got together for an overnighter with our friends Tony & Kim aboard the “Mrs. Kimberly”, their 26′ Regal Express Cruiser.

The weekend forecast was calling for 85 degrees, sunny skies, and zero rain chance for Saturday and possible late afternoon showers for Sunday. That sounds perfect.

Usually, a weekend overnighter is all about a Saturday party, grilling out on the boat, Continue reading “Boating Again! Lake Conway Overnighter”
